Creating Hope Through Action
Do you feel like a burden to others? Do you find no point in living or your life? Are you tired of feeling helpless and hopeless? Are you tired of feeling worthless? Are you thinking of ending all this pain by killing yourself? Yes? Well don’t do it, why? Because you are precious. I know you are probably thinking “it’s useless, another sweet talker” but I’m telling you it’s not. I care, people around you care about you and your life and they are going to be sad when you are gone and by the time you realise it, it will be too late to turn the clock back.
It must be very hard for you right now, it may be hard for you even tomorrow but it might be different next week, next month. You just have to fight against the strong urge for the moment, it’s not easy fighting against the strong urge to die but you can surely do it because you are strong enough to make it till here. If you still can’t get over the urge, do something to distract you, go out for walks, talk to someone you can vibe with online or offline it doesn’t matter, watch your favourite videos or watch live streams or listen to your favourite music. I tell you, it’s not so bad to forget about everything even if it’s for a moment. If it still doesn’t help you, you can always call the suicide national helplines and know that the calls are confidential so you don’t have to be afraid of people knowing your identity or go to anonymous websites and get things off your chest or read other people’s blog, you will know that you are not alone and there are many people who are still fighting and winning, and sometimes you might even come across whose situations are worse than you and feel a little better about your situation.
It is okay to not have a reason to live, it is okay to not feel normal, all that matters is that you are still living. You may not realise it but I’m sure that you are the reason someone else is still living, you do not have to feel so burdened or so worthless because you are not. If you still need a reason to live then you can find it, just keep searching and searching and who knows you might find something bigger and greater than just a ‘reason’ and at that time you’ll feel great
to be alive and you’ll be so proud of yourself that you did not succumb to you your urges and fought through it and still won.
