  • Talk on Preserving Mother Tongues: The Department of Linguistics organized a public talk on account of the International Mother Language Day on 21st February 2024. This event aimed to promote linguistic diversity and cultural heritage across the world. Dr Temsunungsang Jamir, Assistant Professor, English and Foreign Languages University, Shillong Campus, as a resource person presented an insightful talk entitled ‘Preserving our Mother Tongue Today: Challenges and Opportunities’.
