The Department of History in collaboration with Heritage Publication House, Dimapur organized a two day UGC sponsored National seminar on 23rd & 24th of September 2016 under the theme “Heritage Discourse and the Politics of Identity: In the Context of Nagaland and Beyond”. The main objective was to create a significant platform where many scholars and intellectuals can come and discuss issues of our culture and heritage, to identify and bring a solution on how to preserve our identity.
