PG Virtual Graduation Ceremony

Tetso College held its first Post-Graduate (PG) Graduation Ceremony in an online mode for the first PG batch of Tetso, Class of 2019, on the 22nd February 2022 with Dr. Lanusangla Tzudir, Proprietor & Chief Editor of Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur gracing the occasion as Commencement Speaker.

The event was chaired by Dr. Aniruddha Babar, Assistant Professor of Political Science, Tetso College. Dr. Nouzhienino Peseyie, Assistant Professor of Psychology graced the event with a prayer followed by a melodious song by Mhasirieno Pewhuo of BA 4th Semester.

Dr. Hewasa L. Khing, Principal, Tetso College, who delivered the keynote address, wished the students for greater excellence in their future endeavors. She encouraged the students to stand firm to the truest motto of the college that is to ‘Strive For Excellence.’

On behalf of the graduating batch, Sneha Gupta of Tetso College, MA English (2019) who secured the Gold Medalist (based on CGPA) under Nagaland University shared her gratitude and regards based on the experiences she had while at the College.

The commencement speaker Dr. Lanusangla Tzudir, Proprietor & Chief Editor of Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur, wished the students for their completion of their course, that they are now a step ahead in achieving their goals in life. She particularly mentioned the importance of one’s culture and identity, which students should look forward to preserving one’s culture and identity, both in academic measure as well as pragmatic. One must be open to the paradigm shift in this time of adversity and drastic change as the world undergoes, acting as a scaffold to each other’s efforts and recognizing each other’s works, added the speaker.

Meanwhile, a video congratulating all 38 students from the Departments of English and Political Science of the graduating batch was also showcased.

The concluding remarks were given by Dr. Rosy Tep. Asst. Dean, School of English and Political Studies who thanked all the attendees and participants for being a part of the programme. She wished every graduate the best wishes for their future endeavors.
