Nagaland elections: What young voters want?

Say Nagaland and you think of Naga insurgency, guns, calls in the past for a sovereign nation and now the Framework Agreement and the elusive Naga Accord. But the youth of Nagaland, educated and going to college, have other aspirations. Jobs, digital connectivity, good roads for their state and respect for all religions. Monideepa Banerjie was in Nagaland’s biggest city Dimapur ahead of the assembly elections and decided to talk not just to politicians but to young students as well to find out what young Nagaland wants. Many of the students are first-time voters and confident their one vote will make a difference.
