Jukighilepu Xu Ghili Kighithi (Beauty of indigenous knowledge)

Oh, how glorious and pristine Nagaland is!

Bounteous mysteries, wonders and goodness intertwine,
A fearless spirit enchants, with goodness divine.
A land so kind, where hearts expand and thrive,
with Ahoms, a bond cherished, through history’s drive.

Embracing sweet memories, folk songs inhumed within,
echoing pure bliss in their harvest and sacrosanct events.

In the village’s realm, wisdom’s crown is worn,
Their divine spells of guidance adorned.
In honor of departed souls, they refrain;
Fields untouched, a tribute to them remain.

When the golden fields abound, joy fills the air;
As festivals bloom, celebrating nature’s fruitful glare.

From hunting heads to promising souls,
A transformation unfolds,
As vows of 10,000 missionaries sprouted.
Deep-rooted spirituality ergo, grounded.

Mirthful shadow of the Blyth’s tragopan, with vibes virtuous;
Chasing the ominous call of the land, vicious.

Thus I conclude with words,
“Indeed, jukighilepu xu ghili kighithi resound,”
In the domain of reality, its sustainability found;
A poetic legacy forever to astound.
