DOT Talks with Theyiesinuo Keditsu

She is a poet, writer and educator and is an Assistant Professor, Department of English at Kohima College. She has published two books of poetry, “Sopfünuo” and “Wake”. She is the co-founder of Centre for Indigenous Knowledge & Alternative Learning (CIKAL) and advocates the revival of Indigenous Naga textiles and women’s narratives through her popular Instagram avatar @mekhalamama. She has co-written ‘Rise Naga Women’ with renowned music pedagogue and composer Khyochano TCK which was recently adjudged “Theme Song for Women” by the State Resource Centre for Women, Nagaland.
