Tetso College collaborates with CoRSAL, University of North Texas

The aim of this collaboration is to support students and local scholars to archive and publish Naga Oral Traditions using language documentation methods.

CoRSAL (Computational Resources for South Asian Languages), University of North Texas, engages in research at the intersection of language documentation, description, and information science. And the team supports archiving of audio, video, and text on the under-resourced languages of South Asia.

Tetso College provides an avenue to students and local scholars to work on their oral traditions. A new project ‘Naga Languages database’ is initiated by the Linguistics department to support community members in their community literacy development programmes.
