Dimapur: Tetso College organized an Alumni Meet on January 18, 2020 in the College Auditorium wherein the decision to create an alumni network was discussed and implemented.
The Meet was convened for all Tetso College alumni ahead of its 25 th anniversary celebrations on March 7, 2020 and was attended by 23 former students.
The programme was chaired by Soreithing Ramror of BA 6 th Semester while the welcome note was delivered by Tetso College Director Kvulo Lorin. In his speech, Lorin highlighted the need to form an alumni organization which would not only facilitate
in establishing relationships among individuals but also create a positive impact in the society locally and globally.
Albert A. Sangtam, an entrepreneur and alumnus of 2017-18, also shared his experiences of life after graduating college while Amenla Jamir, Co-ordinator of the Alumni Committee, presented her report.
Meanwhile, during the discussion hour, the unanimous decision to form an alumni association by the name ‘Tetso Alumni Network’ was agreed upon by the members present. Accordingly, the office bearers representing the association was also elected namely, Imdong Shingba Anar (Batch of 2006) as President, Albert A. Sangtam (Batch of 2018) as Vice-President, Mhalevonuo Kera (Batch of 2014) as General Secretary, Mhashevil Ltu (Batch of 2015) as Assistant General Secretary, and Tekhezo-u Doulo (Batch of 2018) as Finance Secretary.
