ORATORY COMPETITION ON THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

Organised by the Department of Sociology and Women cell, Tetso College in collaboration with the SAKHI OSC, Mokokchung under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, GOI.

Guidelines :

• This competition is open to all the college students of Nagaland from the age group of 18 to 23 years.
• Participants are required to prepare the oratory speech video in the following format: 1 minute 30 seconds (minimum) to 3 minutes (maximum).
• Participants may use background music in their speech (optional), however, it should not drown the voice quality of the speech itself.
• Each participant will deliver her/his speech without referencing any viewable script. Reading from notes is not allowed.
• Online submission of entries to: sociologydepartment@tetsocollege.org or +916909638829 with Valid ID proof (screenshot of College ID).
• Participants must submit the recorded video on or before 26th November 2020.
• Results will be declared through Official Instagram handle of @Tetso College and @sakhioscmokokchung on 2nd December 2020.

Criteria :

• Originality and relevance to the given theme.

• Clarity of message, use of correct vocabulary, delivery, posture (composure and gestures) and voice (tone, effectiveness/pronunciation).
