The infection rate of the corona virus pandemic seems to be increasing rapidly day by despite strict precautionary measures being taken by every responsible citizens and the immense effort from the frontline healthcare workers and policy makers at different levels to contain the spread of the corona virus.
As of mid-July 2020, globally there have been more than 14 million confirmed cases of COVID 19 and more than 6 lakhs people that have died due to the pandemic. Around 1.725 billion learners are currently affected due to the closures of educational institutions and more than 134 countries are implementing nationwide lockdown in response to the pandemic.
 
Medical experts have advised that people of any age group with certain underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID 19.It has been reported from the medical news sources that the leading causes of deaths due to the COVID 19 pandemic is generally found to be among those that have medical history of heart disease, diabetes and Alzheimer. However, the other reasons for the rapid cause of the pandemic deaths could have been delayed medical checkups, shortages of medical facilities, financial difficulties and emotional distress and so on.
 
Due to the disastrous consequences and uncertainty caused by the COVID 19 pandemic on all aspects  of life ,many people have been suffering from different mental health/physical health related problems such as stress, fatigue, anxiety , depression, suicidal tendencies/suicidal deaths, addictions, insomnia and so on.Even in the field of education, due to the indefinite worldwide closures of educational institutions in response to the corona virus pandemic and its disruption on the  systems of learning, learners and teachers have had to struggle and keep up with different  issues and challenges  in relating to inaccessibility of network coverage’s/poor network connectivity, limited internet data, adaptability problem, inadequate knowledge for integration of digital tools, low level of motivation, short attention span, poor time management etc.
Hence, to address the above issues and challenges prevalent  in different fields of physical health, mental health and education post COVID 19 pandemic ,the panelists will share and present their views and information from a diverse, practical and professional stand point.
 
1. Dr. Raile R. Ziipao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Central University of Punjab. He received his doctorate of philosophy in Social Sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai .He was a recipient of Harvard University Raghunathan Family Fellowship (South Asia Fellow) 2017-2018.
His latest books include-2020. Ziipao R. Raile .Infrastructure of Injustice: State and Politics in Manipur, Northeast India. Routledge: London and New York.

2. Dr. Nokchur Imchen is a Junior Consultant (Medicine) at CIHSR, 4th Mile Dimapur. He earned his MD General Medicine from Madras Medical College Chennai and MBBS from NEIGRIHMS Shillong. After completion  of his Bachelor Degree from NEIGRIHMS Shillong, he then served in the same institute in the Department of Urology for a period of 4months.
Some of his Research works include; ‘A study on ‘Pancytopenia in tertiary Health sector ‘,‘A case series of ‘Male Systematic Lupus Erythematosus’
3. Ms. Tharmichon N Rungsung  is a mental health counselor  by profession .Earlier, she served  as an Evangelist in Tangkhul Baptist Church, Imphal. She earned her Master of Counseling and Psychotherapy from Thomas Mar Athanasius Institute of Counseling, Kottayam. She was an awardee for Proficiency Award for Counseling(MCP) from the same institute. Her hobbies are reading books and planting evergreens.
