The Department of Commerce & Management, Tetso College in association with Board of Industry – Academia Partnerships (BIAP) is organizing an Online Financial Wellness Programme on 25th September, 2021.
We welcome the participation of every student and faculty of Tetso College.
However, attendance is mandatory for B.Com and BBA students.
About the Organisation and Programme:
Board of Industry-Academia Partnerships (BIAP) is a youth organization that aims to create a platform promoting and enhancing the collective potential of students, the industry and academia and helps bridge the gap between Industry and Academia. BIAP has been closely related with various Corporates, Institutions, Associations, Colleges, Co-working spaces, Government Organizations with the aim of spreading awareness on various Finance related subjects.
In this growing era of corporate scams and accounting scandals, self-awareness and adequate knowledge in the field of finance is extremely necessary. It is important for every individual to plan out their financial goals for which knowledge about financial products is a must. This will help every individual to take independent decisions and plan out for the future in a better manner.
The Financial Wellness Programme is an attempt to clear out the misconceptions in the minds of investors, channelize their investments, make them aware of various asset classes, and equip them with enough financial skills so that they are financially safe.
Resource Person: Daksha Gogia is a trainer for financial literacy & investor education at Board of Industry-Academia Partnerships (BIAP). She has conducted numerous financial literacy and investor awareness programmes for various target audience as investor education initiatives through BIAP. She is a postgraduate in Business Management from UPG College, Mumbai and has qualified her UGC-NET in Commerce with 99 percentile in 1st attempt. Apart from working with BIAP, she is also a faculty at MMK College, Bandra.
