We are happy to announce that The Department of Commerce and Management will be organising NOVUS, a Business Plan competition which aims to offer students a platform to unleash their potential and bring out the innovativeness in them.
Objectives: The main objective of Novus is to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation and instil the practicalities of setting up a business amongst the students. This event will provide them with an opportunity to present their ideas and develop their business acumen.
Rules and regulations:
- The competition is open to all BBA and BCOM students. Every class should have a minimum of one team and maximum of two teams.
- The teams can prepare and present the business plan in any area of their choice.
- Participants must submit their names to their class teachers on or before 14th April, 2022 and submit their reports (business plan) in hard copies by 27th April 2022 (Wednesday) to the event in-charges.
- Each team should have a name for their Business Plan.
- Each team should have a minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 5 members.
- The idea/business plan must be creative, innovative, for-profit and financially viable.
- Each team will be given a total of 15 minutes, 10 minutes for the PowerPoint presentation and 5 minutes for the question round from the judge(s).
N.B: Each participating team will start with an imaginary fixed capital of 10 lakhs with the help of which the teams must come up with a Business venture which is both attainable and applicable in the recent or future business environment.
Participating teams must present a PowerPoint presentation along with submission of a detailed report of their business plan.
