Intra Departmental Research Report Presentation
Conducting research is an important part of the college experience, especially as an undergraduate. The advantages of having an experience in Research extend beyond having a more degree certificate. By indulging in research projects students develop critical thinking skills, gains deep knowledge as well as effective analytical skills which is beneficial. Ultimately, the undergraduate research experience is one of several experiences that can impact the future career choices of the undergraduate students. The students are challenged to engage in learning experiences and evidence-based education. Moving towards creating powerful educational environments that improve learning is more effective rather than adding more courses that merely transfer knowledge.

Therefore, as a part of the course “Social Research Methods- II,” the 2nd semester Honours students conducted their first Research project on the topic of their interest. This Research experiences gave the students an opportunity to gain a deeper knowledge of research techniques and processes as it allowed the students to develop professionally and personally.
